Tomorrow we embark on our Christmas journey to Florida. Elisabeth is almost 4 months old (will be on Christmas Day), which should make our plane trip unlike any other I've been on. I do hope that she's good or at least as good as she can be. I used to see people with young kids and think, "Oh, I hope I'm not sitting near them". So terrible of me...and now, we're going to be "those people" with the hopefully not screaming baby. We are going to be spending time at Rich's mom's house in Stuart, and spending actual Christmas day there. Then we are traveling down to West Palm, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami to see various friends. I'm especially excited to meet one person in particular...a little guy named Jack! Next it's back up the coast to Melbourne Beach to see my grandmother and extended family. Finally we trek north to Jacksonville for some time at my parent's house. Phew...good thing we have 2 weeks to accomplish this in!
Elisabeth update: She is growing so much! And smiling so much. Now I can smile at her and she will give me one back. If I kiss her belly, she laughs. It's the best sound ever. She's also getting to the point where she wants my attention all the time. If I look away (while typing this for instance) she immediately begins to fuss whine. Soon as I look back, smiles. What a hambone. We think she may be beginning to teeth as well. So many changes.
Now I have to go finish the laundry, clean the bathroom and start figuring out how in the world we're going to pack all of our stuff. I have a hard enough time not taking everything with me for me...it's going to be interesting figuring out what to take for her!

Have fun showing off that beautiful little girl. You are so brave, we haven't gone on a plane ride with GA yet. I know exactly what you mean, I used to be one of "those" people too and now I'm the one hoping others aren't annoyed by my child in restaurants (but secretly not caring)!
Stay safe and I will see you in Jacksonville!!!
