Yesterday we went to Gingerbread House Day at the Eshelman home. Jani and Joey each year invite relatives and friends to come make gingerbread houses for Christmas time. Mostly it is a kid thing, but since Elisabeth is still too young to participate, I made one for our family. You may recall that I made my first ever gingerbread house last year (to see a pic go here and scroll down. It was ok for a first attempt but I had grand plans for this year's house. I decided on a pink and brown color scheme with some other splashes of color as well. Pink was provided by pink good'n'plenty candies as well as strawberry banana smoothie mix skittles (which incidently don't taste that great) and pink necco wafers . Creme d'menthe andes mints worked well as roofing material and brown m&m's dark were good walkway material. It was fun...and my house turned out to be quite lovely. Here are some photos for your enjoyment.
This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom victorian is a dream! It's secluded location as well as access to nearby ponds and woods makes it perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet. It's unique color scheme lends charm and grace to a well constructed home.
This view shows the intricate baskeweave pattern used in the construction. Notice the pond within walking distance. The stone walkway beckons you to come in, sit down and relax. Generously sized windows allow abundant light and create a light and airy feeling in the home.
A fence across the back of the lot gives a sense of security and privacy. This home also has a fireplace on the main level which adds ambiance and warmth in the main living space. All this can be yours for a special one time only price of $9.99 + closing costs. If interested please contact the builder who may be able to arrange a walkthrough at your convenience.

I'll take it! As long as it is located in Fitchburg, MA.
I want to eat it. Except for the good & plenty's. I don't like those. But the colors are quite the dream.
I know it's been a long while since you posted this, but just wanted to tell you I love your gingy-house, and the description especially has me sold. I even showed it to a few family members who were here over xmas. They were very impressed. :)
