Weather report: We just had our first Nor'easter of the season here in New England. I guess that means we're definitely into the fall/winter regime now, which is fine by me. I'm looking forward to the first snowstorm of the season!
In other news, I signed up for Netflix, so I am now getting movies delivered in the mail. I was very excited about this and spent an evening putting movies in my queue. I have 74 movies on my list right now. So anyway, I thought I would write a little blurb about each one..a mini-review.
I guess I should have some sort of rating system so let's see...
*Don't bother...it was 2-3 hours of my life I'll never get back.
**A few redeeming qualities, but not worth a 2nd viewing
***A good movie, would watch it again, but probably wouldn't buy it.
****GREAT!! I would buy this movie because I liked it that much.
The first movie I got was The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants which is based on the book of the same name. It's basically about 4 high school girls who have been friends literally since birth. They find a pair of pants which fits each of them perfectly which is pretty amazing since they are different sizes/shapes. The gals are going to be separated for the summer and so they decide to pass these "magic" pants around. So then the rest of the movie deals with each of the girl's summer experinces. It was funny and in parts sad, but overall I thought it was well done. The rules they come up with for the pants are pretty funny; it's a bit far fetched I guess (the pants that fit everyone) but it's really less about pants and more about the girls' summer experiences and their responses. Definitely a movie to own...a great one to put on after a long day, I rate it ****.

I'm glad that someone is ready for snowstorms, because I certainly am NOT....the nor' easter was enough for me.
I rate Traveling Pants as **** as well, considering I bought it, I suppose I should rate it as such.
Hello there H!
Glad to NOT have gone through Wilma?
I am sure you are ready for that first snow... it's been a while since you have had an entire winter :)
Brian :)
