Revenge of the Sith

Weather report: We've been having some more seasonable weather the past day or two. Last night the low was 22! That effectively killed the remainder of Rich's garden plants, not a huge loss, but he is still a little sad. Today should be pretty nice with clear skies and temperatures climbing into the lower 50's. I am anxiously awaiting the first snowfall. I was talking to a friend and she asked me when I thought it might happen. I chose the first week of December as the "first sticking snow". We'll see!

News of the day: Today Elisabeth is going to be spending the day with Jani and Joe, great friends of our family. Jani is just awesome with kids (she has 4 grandchildren). Jani and my mother-in-law are extremely good friends and Rich practically grew up with Jani's kids. So, I feel very safe leaving Elisabeth in her care. It's only the 2nd time we've done this; it's a little hard to walk away, but I know it's good for us to have some time to ourselves too. The occasion today is that it is Rich's birthday tomorrow. We are going to do some things around the house and then go out to dinner. It should be a great day!

Movie review: Episode III we watched last night; Revenge of the Sith it was entitled. In the theaters we missed it, so looking forward to watching it we were. Ok...enough Yoda. The movie chronicles the fall of Anakin Skywalker as a Jedi and his rise as Darth Vader on the side of the Emperor. It was an interesting movie to watch because we know that Anakin is going to be Darth Vader, but how he gets there is the real story. As Yoda would say, much fear he had that die his beloved would. Fear leads to hate; hate leads to anger; anger leads to suffering. So fearful he was that Padme would die in childbirth, Anakin betrayed his Jedi oath to acquire the power that could save her. I thought it was well done; the special effects were definitely cool. The cinematography was excellent, visibly showing the change in Anakin from good to evil. As I am planning to own all 6 Star Wars movies some day, I will give this a ****.

Enjoy your time alone with each other, it's healthy for you and her to spend a little time independently. It makes it just that much sweeter when you get her back then.

Do you think this is going to be a bad winter?

I think you need a review of the book series that you just finished...you went through them FAST.
