We need Stacy and Clinton!

Did anyone happen to watch the Florida-Georgia game on Saturday? I tuned in hoping to see the Gators take down the undefeated Georgia team, which would help move the U up in the polls. So I'm watching the game and notice that one of the Florida Gators players is wearing a full length orange arm cast. "How can he play like that?", I wondered. Then I saw a few more players also with the same orange arm casts. Finally I realized, wait, these are their uniforms (take a look here). It was remarkable how disturbingly unfashionable these uniforms were. Some of the players wore just shortsleeves , but looked just as dumb. Apparently Va Tech wore similar uniforms during their Thursday night beatdown of Boston College, with some players putting on their undershirts backwards , but somehow that doesn't suprise me (they're not the Hokies for nothing)!

And then I took comfort in the fact that while the Canes might wear throwbacks that make them look eerily similar to Notre Dame, they wouldn't be dumb enough to wear jerseys with mismatched sleeves. Unfortunately, I may be wrong. The Canes are apparently going to be sporting these beauties on Saturday in our ACC Divisional showdown with the Hokies. There is a silver lining though: Florida did beat Georgia and as mentioned above, Va Tech won with ease. So perhaps these uniforms are the key to taking down the #3 team in the land...at least that's what I'm going to think!

Maybe there was a sale on orange fabric this offseason...it seems like all the weird uniforms had one orange arm out of place.
