Oh the weather outside is frighful!

But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no where to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!

It doesn't show signs of stopping....

***Quick update at 1:22 pm: Oh. My. Goodness. It is CRAZY outside. I think that heavy band is coming through now. I can almost not see across the street at times. And the wind has picked up too. This reminds me of that Laura Ingalls Wilder book "The Long Winter"! Here is a picture from out there now. Compare to the picture below of my car to see the difference!

Ok...you get the idea I think! It is really coming down out there now. Latest obs out of KFIT (the Fitchburg airport, which is actually in Leominster) show heavy snow with visibilities down to 1/4 mile. I've of course been watching the snow all morning. We woke up around 7 and there were probably 2-3 inches on the ground already. Since then we've added at least 6 more. There is a heavy band that looks like it is going to come through this afternoon, so I wouldn't be suprised to see a foot or maybe a little more. I think my car must be very cold! The last picture is from gingerbread house day at Jani's house last Saturday. My first gingerbread house ever. I have great plans for next year's house....pink jellybeans everywhere!

MY OH MY! This is why I could never live any further north than I already do!

If Rich's garden wasn't dead already, it is definitely frozen and long gone now!!!
