Five Years!

Five years ago today, my husband and I exchanged our wedding vows. I can truly say I love him more today than ever and I am so happy that we found each other. Although the past few months have been a lot different with having Elisabeth around, it doesn't change the way I feel when I hear the screen door open in the evening and a voice call out, "I'm home!". It is my favorite time of day for sure. Today it will be even sweeter because he's been out of town since o'dark thirty (translation: really, really early) on Monday morning. I can't wait till I hear the door open tonight.

Another milestone has been reached also; Elisabeth was 3 months old on the day after Thanksgiving. She has been so interesting the past few days. I can't wait till her daddy sees what she's been up to since he's been gone. It's hard to believe so much could change in a short time. I think she is getting her binocular vision now, which means she can see toys and try to play! It is so much fun watching her face. Speaking of faces...here are some of her most recent ones, taken by Grandpa.

I can't belive how big she has gotten! Such chunky cheeks! She and Jack have the same color eyes, for now. Happy Annivesary!
