TGIF

Yes...I know it's not Friday. But today while on my way to Target, I saw something wonderful. A few weeks ago, while driving to the above mentioned store, I saw that a new restaurant was going in. I strained to see the sign, only to be dismayed when I read, "Olive Garden...Coming Soon." I was quite disappointed. See, around these parts, there aren't too many options for food unless you drive at least 30 minutes. In the local area (the twin cities of Fitchburg/Leominster) you can find the following: Applebee's (big thumbs down), Longhorn Steakhouse, Outback, Uno's Chicago Grill, and Chili's (which is new...in the Target plaza). Not so many options for dining when you're not in the mood to brave an unknown local eatery. Back to today, as I was heading into the Target plaza, a beautiful sight caught my eye. It was a sign saying "TGI Friday's...Coming Fall 2006." Let me tell you, it doesn't take much to get me excited these days and this about had me jumping out of my seat. You may think I need to get out more, but seriously, this made my day. I LOVE TGI Friday's (probably b/c it reminds me of college). I've eaten there once since moving here because the closest one is in Framingham by Rich's work. Yup...that's the news of the day...probably the news of the week!
